Meet Jodi and James…

For their engagement session, we decided to take a little tour of Stillwater. It’s home of the OSU Cowboys, Eskimo Joe’s, and, most importantly, where Jodi & James met and fell in love.

Here’s a few things that I would like to share about Jodi & James.

One, they laugh. A lot. Sometimes, it’s at the goofy directions and sayings I have (such as…”Blue Steel! Show me your best Blue Steel look!” or “Ugh, this light…it’s, it’s Ahhhmazing! You guys are Ahhhmazing! I can’t stand it!”). But mostly, it’s because they’re having such a great time simply being together. James knows how to make Jodi laugh. The Real laugh. The one that is loud & contagious & lights up her face. And when Jodi laughs, James just beams in a way that shows it’s one of his favorite sounds to hear.

Two, they have the most heart-touching “quiet moments”. James would tuck Jodi’s hair behind her ear. Jodi would close her eyes and quietly smile when James pulled her into a hug. Those little moments that whisper, instead of shout. And clearly show that she chooses James, and that he chooses Jodi.

In September, Jodi & James will be revisiting Stillwater to officially say “I do” and celebrate the moments, big & small, that brought them together.
