First up….all the kiddos

 

Meet Jerry and Mary, Kristy and Jerry, and Jerad and Amy. Whew. Glad I got that straight. I L.O.V.E. this family…and I mean that. They were my next-door neighbors throughout my childhood/teenage years, so I was way flattered when they asked me to come out and do a family session for them. Here are some of my faves….we had so much fun…even if we did sweat like a buncha…..

A cool note about this building below….it once was a one-room schoolhouse. 

It was the perfect setting for some of these shots.

I heart Mary + Jerry.

Kristy and I got into ALL kinds of trouble growing up. I had to rehash some funny stories, of course.

Jerad + Amy….they are so cute! Jerad is Kristy’s little brother.

Ok. So Amy says to me “We don’t do sweet pictures. They always look silly.”…..Um…what about this?!

Ok, ok, ok….I can’t take credit for these next two.  Mary wanted to have some fun with the reflections…and these are two of my favorites. Yes, I meant to cut out their faces in the first one….makes the reflection even cooler!

Mary + Jerry : thanks for all those times you let me and Whit come over and swim.  Thanks also for always providing fun Christmas entertainment and fire hazards with all the lights you and Daddy would put up.  Most of all, thanks for being great neighbors and friends.  I had a great time shooting your family session!
