Well I do have to say that these are two of my favorite kids (now they are my cousins so they have a leg up). Taylor isn’t much of a kid anymore though. She is growing up to be such a beautiful young woman. And Jackson is so GQ these days. He really knows how to work the camera!
I had the pleasure of shooting these two before Christmas and was thrilled with the result. Check out a few of my faves!

Meet Miss Alexis. She’s special to me in that she makes me feel SUPER OLD! Thanks a lot Alexis…(kidding). I used to babysit this super-cute girl when I was in high school. Her grandma was my Science teacher in high school and her mom was my boss at the pharmacy where I served as a lackey for a couple of years. You can imagine how awesome it has been to see her blossom into such a beautiful young woman. I had the pleasure of shooting her senior portraits this fall and I wanted to share my faves! If I got to write in her yearbook, here’s what it would say. [I miss yearbooks!] Alexis – congrats on graduating next Spring. I see great things in your future. Keep your great sense of humor intact and you will go so far in life!

Hey guys!
It is with much excitement [and a little dread] that I’ve started a new, non-photography-related blog. Don’t worry, it’s not a new business venture, I’m still striving to become the best wedding photographer ever 
The general idea of it is this : I need to be healthier. I do not particularly enjoy cooking or exercising, but that’s just the way the cookie (mmm!) crumbles. I’m hoping to connect with other readers out there that want to make a commitment to be healthier in some way. For me, it is taking a sabbatical from eating out. [It will also be my place to gritch, cry and moan about not eating fast food anymore.] Good times.
